NAVY GRENADINE WITH WHITE DOTS
Grenadine is made from fine, hard-twist silk yarn on ancient wooden looms. The grenadine tie soared to popularity in the 1960s, in no small part due to the fact Sean Connery wore a grenadine tie in all but one of his Bond films. Grenadine is an elegant, luxurious fabric that adds a touch of formality to any occasion.
Typically seen in dark solid colors, our grenadine tie ups the ante with contrasting woven dots to add visual interest. Res Ipsa's grenadine fabric is custom-woven to our design specification by one of Italy's finest mills (and the official supplier of fabric for ecclesiastical robes worn by the last eight Popes).
Handmade in New York City, with distinctive finishes like a grosgrain neckband, self-loop and self-tipped. Each tie is 58-inches long and 3-inches wide.
