Three Scents That Don’t Know How to Behave

You probably already know what you like when it comes to fragrance. But if you’ve ever wondered if it's a parfum or perfume, or why a scent hits different in the morning than it does at night, or why some fade fast while others linger for hours—there’s a reason. Actually, three: top notes, middle notes, and base notes. And in our case, oil-based formulas that stick with you long after everyone else’s fragrance has left the building.

Naughty, Saucy, and Yummy are oil-based fragrances designed to evolve on your skin throughout the day. Each one was crafted with an edge, a mood, and a little bit of mischief. So if you’ve forgotten how good they are—or never gave them a proper chance—let’s break them down.

Perfume vs. Parfum: What’s the Difference?

The word parfum comes from the Latin per fumum, meaning “through smoke.” Originally, scent was something burned—not worn. But over time, the term evolved into what we now know as perfume: a layered blend of aromatic materials used to scent the body.

In today’s fragrance world, the word parfum actually signals concentration—not just elegance. A parfum (or pure perfume) contains the highest percentage of fragrance oils, usually between 20–30%. This makes it more intense, longer-lasting, and closer to the skin.

Most mainstream perfumes are actually eau de parfums or eau de toilettes—meaning more alcohol, less oil, and a quicker fade. Our fragrances are far closer to a true parfum: oil-based, low on alcohol, and designed to linger. Think slow-release, skin-warming, memory-making scent.

If perfume is a performance, parfum is a presence.

How Fragrance Actually Works

Most perfumes are built in layers. The top notes are the first thing you smell: bright, punchy, usually citrus or herbs. They show up loud, but fade fast. The middle notes (aka heart notes) develop next. These are softer—floral, fruit, or spice—and give the scent its character. Last come the base notes: woods, musks, resins. They're the slow-burn elements that stick around and give the fragrance depth and longevity.

Now, because our scents are oil-based, you’ll notice that the transition between these layers is smoother and slower. The scent wears closer to the skin, lasts longer, and evolves with your body heat. It’s less about projection and more about presence. You’re not leaving a cloud—you’re leaving a memory.

Naughty — The Warm One With a Wild Side

Naughty starts off soft and floral with a bit of spice—like someone sweet who might steal your lighter. As it settles, the heart reveals deeper woody notes that feel grounding and magnetic. But the real star here is the base: sandalwood, musks, and just enough smoke to make it feel a little dangerous.

  • Top Notes: Subtle florals, a hint of spice

  • Middle Notes: Spiced amber, woods

  • Base Notes: Sandalwood, musk, soft smoke

It’s cozy, sexy, and lingers long after you’re gone. Wear it when you want to feel like you’re in control of the whole room—without raising your voice.

Saucy — Citrus That Doesn’t Behave

You’d think a citrus-forward fragrance would feel fresh and innocent, but Saucy hits with unexpected bite. Grapefruit and neroli take the top, but as it wears, the sharpness is mellowed by creamy sandalwood and grounded in a musky finish. It’s citrus with attitude.

  • Top Notes: Grapefruit, neroli

  • Middle Notes: White florals, soft spice

  • Base Notes: Sandalwood, musk

It’s the one you throw in your bag before a trip—playful, punchy, and adaptable. Think spontaneous flights, unplanned nights out, or just needing a little edge on a Tuesday.

Yummy — Sweet, But Not Too Sweet

Yummy opens like dessert: ripe peach and vanilla cream, warm and indulgent. But give it a minute, and it dries down into something more grown. The florals in the middle keep it balanced, and the base is richer than you'd expect—smooth, musky, and a little addictive.

  • Top Notes: Peach, vanilla

  • Middle Notes: White florals

  • Base Notes: Creamy musk, soft woods

It’s flirtatious, cozy, and totally non-basic. Wear it when you want someone to lean in closer—or when you’re feeling delicious for no reason at all.

Why Oil-Based Makes All the Difference

Most perfumes are alcohol-based. They evaporate fast, which is why the scent hits you immediately—and disappears by lunch. Ours are oil-based, which means they sit on the skin longer, melt in slowly, and create a more intimate experience. Less of a room-filler. More of a skin-hugger.

Bonus: they’re travel-sized, under 3 oz, and come in sleek glass bottles that won’t leak or bulk up your bag. Toss one in your carry-on, your tote, or your pocket. They’re made to move—just like you.

You’ve Met Them Before. Now Meet Them Again.

Naughty, Saucy, and Yummy weren’t made to follow rules. They were made to feel like you—just bolder. They wear differently on everyone. They evolve. They’re easy to layer, fun to mix, and dangerously easy to get attached to.

They didn’t go anywhere. You just forgot how good they are.
