Res Ipsa’s Crochet Mules are made from high-quality hand-crocheted wool, trimmed with brown leather, feature an upper suede lining, and a stacked leather heel. Each pair is handmade at our Marrakech atelier.
Our crochet collection begins with crochet handmade in a co-op of 30-40 local women in Marrakech. We organized the co-op to give us a reliable supply of raw materials and to give local artisans the ability to earn a living from their talents. Each piece is made with wool yarns crocheted into small squares and stitched together by the team in our atelier. The process is slow fashion and sustainable.
At our atelier, we design each pair of mules by hand using unique pairings of crochet squares to create incredibly vibrant and beautiful collections.
