Description: Sam Roy Hagar, also known as the Red Rocker, is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. In the early 1970s he was a member of the hard rock band Montrose before launching a solo career, scoring a hit in 1984 with "I Can't Drive 55".  One of his side projects, The Wabos, consists of Sammy’s close friends as well as other well-respected musicians. Their music style is primarily rock and roll. Hagar is also an accomplished businessman, owning multiple brands and restaurants.
