Silk Long Kimono #2
Our silk kimono is handmade at our Marrakech atelier, with selected deadstock fabrics left over from the fashion industry. With a soft, gentle material and luxurious, loose-fitting drape, our kimono is one size only and is generous in width.
The silk kimono, a quintessential symbol of Japanese culture, has a history dating back over a millennium. The word "kimono" means "thing to wear," emphasizing its significance as a traditional garment. Originating during the Heian period (794-1192), kimonos were initially reserved for the aristocracy.
This silk kimono is an ideal pick for all seasons. The lively design of each kimono introduces a vibrant element to your outfit. With its generous width, this kimono becomes a conversation starter. We recommend combining our silk kimono with a pair of rug sandals.
