Proclaimed an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, el Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) a festival celebrated in central and southern Mexico that commemorates the transitory return to Earth of deceased relatives and loved ones. The festivities take place each year at the end of October to the beginning of November. Our loafers are inspired by one of the most iconic images of this festival--the colorful sugar skulls that represent a departed soul.
